RIDING LESSONS and PROGRAMS
Here at Wildrose Horse Farm we specialize in individualizing lessons to suit your level of riding skills and needs. From Novice/Beginner through Advanced Level IV (4). We are about Emotional and Spiritual healing. "Healing With Horses". We teach beginners from safety through grooming and tacking. This includes positive reinforcement, communication skills that will be applied to everyday situations.
Video tapes and/or books will be suggested prior to your first lessons. Helmets and boots are a must. We do supply helmets until you feel that riding is a hobby that you desire. Our priority is your safety. We want you to enjoy your riding experience to the fullest.
Cancelled/Failed Lesson Policy
Students MUST give 24 hours notice of cancellation. Riders who do not give 24 hours notice of cancellation or fail to contact us for no show for a lesson are required to pay for that Lesson PLUS a $25.00 Fee. Just because you did not show for your lesson does not mean your instuctor did not and he/she needs to be compensated. Your horse that we had waiting for you still needs to eat. If You can prove there were extinuating circumstances, we will not charge you in full for that lesson missed. All we ask for is a phone call to let us know if you will not be coming for your lesson.

CARING WITH COMBS
Un-mounted Groundwork to Facilitate a Reconnection with Horses. Have you been away from horses for a while and desire to "get back into it"? Just need to
touch a horse and inhale their scent? Spend individual quiet time bonding, grooming and caring for one of our generous, kind and gentle horses. Supervised by
one of our CHA Certified Instructors. Excellent preliminary program before progressing to any mounted work. Half hour $40.00, full Hour $60.00.
SAVIORS FOR SURVIVORS
We offer "Saviors For Survivors" for PTSD including Trauma of any kind. Equine assisted therapy is effective for veterans and other survivors of trauma.
Survivors tend to avoid talking about those memories that are so painful. The emphasis of this therapy is to learn to pick
up non verbal cues. Working with horses teaches the participant to relax and adapt to behaviors through body language
with horses. This program is available any time. Call with any questions.
"ANGEL SPONSOR'S" FOR HORSES
We are offering a program called "Angel Sponsor's" a horse at WildRose Horse Farm.
This program will help the horses sponsored with hay and grain through the winter months.
It also includes vetting and farrier bills. Pick a horse from the gallery you wish to sponsor e mail or call us. You can make hay or grain
purchases through Salem Feed and Grain on Rt82 in Salem, CT or call them at 860.859.1315 to make a purchase for the farm.
You will be kept updated with photos, news letters and visitation is encouraged for your sponsored horse. Call Shari for more information.

LEARNING TO RIDE AS AN ADULT
For beginner or returning Adult Riders. Adult Riders have unique needs when learning to ride that require an adaptive method for maximum success. Differences in
posture, balance, strength, mobility and confidence can hinder the learning curve enjoyed by children. This program helps assist the adult student to loosen up, relax,
strengthen muscles and improve position in order to ride safely and securely without fear of injury. Privately Scheduled
with a Certified Instructor. Half hour $40.00, Full Hour $60.00.
YOUTH AT RISK
One-on-one hourly programs include Meditation, Bonding time with Horses, Observation of Horse Behavior and Discussion groups.
Responsibility, accountability, self esteem, confidence taught through individual interaction with the horse. Course work
includes grooming, feeding, general horse care and maintenance. Mounted and un-mounted activities. Privately Scheduleed with
CHA Certified Instructor. Recommendation from guidance, mental health counselor or social worker required. Weekly one hour Classes $60.00, Twice a week $110.00.
LITTLEST RIDERS
For our "Littest Riders" we offer Leadline Lesson's ages 3 to 5
Start your little one safely . Lead-line lessons on our kind and gentle Pony "Jimmy" suited for our littlest riders. Includes basic horsemanship and grooming for beginners. The focus is on safety, balance, confidence and FUN! privately scheduled with an Instructor. weekly half hour class is $40.00. Discounted multi-lesson rates if paid in advance.
BABY STEPS TO HORSES
Baby steps to Conquering Fear of Horses or Riding
Have you always admired the beauty of the horse but your fears hold you back from interaction with them or from riding? This program
allows progression in baby steps towards understanding horse psychology and behavior and building confidence through information, patience, practice, consistency and repetition to help
you through your road blocks. Classroom and hands on for these one hour weekly sessions are $60.00 for a one hour-discounted multi-lesson package rates with CHA instructor.
BUILDING BLOCKS TO BETTER BEHAVIOR
Our "Building Blocks" program helps parents identify unhealthy behavior patterns. Students learn to establish awareness of these patterns. The horse assists
students to become aware of unhealthy behavior by non verbal cues and body language from the horse. By identifying these non verbal cues it increases the awareness and allows students
to work on their relationships with people/parents/teachers, family and friends. The one on one hourly sessions include Bonding time with Horses. Observation of horse Behavior as this is key for students to open up positive feedback and discussions of the horse-human
relationship and opens their minds for positive healthy relationships. The Fee for this unique program is $70.00. Call before May 1st to reserve a space and intake appointment.
PEOPLE IN TRANSITION
People experience numerous transitions throughout their lives that are eased by Horse-Human bond with horses because of their sentient nature. Life transitions include job changes or loss, divorce, mourning, self-affirmation, self actualization, depression, returning to society from prision
and Trauma of any kind. One on one hourly sessions include Bonding time with Horses, Observation of horse Behavior and Discussions Fee for this unique program is $70.00. Call before May 1st to reserve a space and intake appointment.
HORSE OWNER'S SEMINAR
SO--Your child Wants a horse?
Pre-purchase training for potential horse owners are reviewed. Learn the basics of horse care, veterinary and farrier needs, equipment and facilities, feeing and pasture and pasture management.
General costs, pros and cons of boarding vs. home stable. CHA Certified Instructor for 6 Weeks Classroom $240.00. Limit 6 per session. Call for Scheduling.
ONE WITH HORSE HORSEMANSHIP
A Certified Instructor will review videos with open discussion with regard to training and bonding with horses ON A DEEP LEVEL ONE ON ONE. Limit 6 per session.$20.00 per class

ANOREXIA AND EATING DISORDERS
Selfcare, self-esteem, accountability learned through caring for the horse. Privately scheduled with CHA, WRHF,HWH Certified
Instructor/Mentor/Counselor. Weekly one hour class sessions and discounted multi-lesson package rates.
TROUBELED TEENS PROGRAM
To teens trust can be a huge factor. This program begins with caring and grooming. It helps teens to care for a horse by studying safety, respect and horse behavior. With that teens become aware
of their own feelings and how they affect others through working with the horse. Eventually teens learn to love and trust their equine friends. A Mentor will work with teens and assist them with learning to
trust and bond with the horse. This unique program is available all year round. Call before May 1st to reserve a space and intake appointment.
WRHF/HWH EQUINE ASSISTED CERTIFICATION CLASSES
We offer Certification courses for Instructors and Side Walkers
We Require our Instructors to hold a certificate in First Aid and CPR through the Red Cross. We also require our Instructors to Pass our Certification Classes prior to
Teaching, Instructing or Side Walking for Therapeutic Riding. Safety of the Riders, Instructors and Horses is imperative in this line of work. An in depth course taylored for Healing With Horses

EQUINE COMMUNICATION
Have you ever wondered what horses are thinking? We offer classes here at "WildRose Horse Farm" to teach you how to read equine body language which will make you aware of not only horse body language. It will teach you human body language as well. We can teach you what horses are saying to each other just by their body language, position of ears, and the way they move. Learning body language of the horse is imperative to bonding with a horse and is helpful when riding and taking lessons.

EQUINE ART CLASSES
Drawing Horses - Classes All Year round. Morning and evening classes. Call for dates and times.
Mediums(pencil, oil, acrylic, chalk and watercolor. Your Own Supplies $20.00 per class.
LIL'RIDING LESSONS
Lil' Riding Lessons weather permitting on Saturday from Check updates for times and days. Call ahead to be sure.
Beginning in the spring LOOK for our PONY RIDE signs weekends weather permitting. The Weight Limit 50 lbs ONLY - Weather Permitting $5.00 per ride.
For Lil'Riding Lessons $5.00 Specials (usually $10.00) look for our sign.
INTRO To RIDING LESSONS
We also offer Intro riding Lessons. Cost $20.00 for a lead around for 10 minutes. Please call in advance to reserve a spot for children or adults.
Lessons will continue through the fall and winter. We do not have an indoor arena and we work all year round so please dress appropriately.
Healing With Horses - Theraupetic Riding
Who would benefit from therapeutic riding? People with phychological, cognitive, emotional and social disabilities may use equine assisted activities adapted as needed - as a recreation and leisure experience. The emphasis is on an enjoyable and relaxing experience that provides additional therapeutic benefits in the areas of socialization, posture, mobility, and an overall improved quality of life. Individuals may participate in horse-related activities to their maximum ability in an atmosphere of support, structure, education and socialization for the primary purpose of the intrinsic enjoyment of the activity.
Partial Leasing of Lesson Horses
Partial Leasing of Lesson Horses is available, which allows us to match your level of skills to the appropriate Lesson Horse. Your responsiblities will include grooming and bathing the horse, taking care of it's tack and general horse care. All partial leasing must be paid in advance; $475.00 per month. First come first serve. No refunds. You must also take lessons at least 1 day per week in the lesson program to ensure the proper communication with you and your horse.

A Release of Liability must be signed for any horse related activity.
